Sarec’s Cattery made looking for our newest family member a breeze! We got our Maine Coon kitten from them and Amanda was absolutely amazing!! What I really appreciated was the time she took to answer all of my texts and questions, and would send picture updates. She went above and beyond when we arrived to pick up our girl Freyja, she went over all of the paper work, explained the best ways for grooming, litter and food recommendations, she even took the time to teach me how to safely trim my kittens nails 🙂 we will definitely be going back to Sarec’s when we’re ready to add to the family again ❤️❤️❤️

My partner Jessica and I have been looking to adopt a Sphynx cat for some time and were very pleased to discover Sarec’s Cuttery breeders located a short distance from our home in Minneapolis. After reaching out, Amanda eventually informed us of a litter of Sphynx kittens available for adoption. Since we were new to all of this, we asked if we could come see the litter. She welcomed us to her home with open arms and spent quality time with us explaining the adoption process and of course, showing us the small joy we did eventually adopted. We had to wait two excruciating weeks before our kitten was old enough to be brought home. During this time, she continued to keep us informed on his progress and was extremely flexible when it finally came time to arrange for me to pick up our kitten which we named Tutankhamun (Tut). When I arrived on adoption day, Ananda sat me down and took her time explaining all I needed to know about our new kittens care advice. This included feeding, litter box options, grooming, health and even fashion options for our naked sweetheart. Next were the add ons which included a sample of kitten food, grooming tools and solutions, toys (including a laser light which is Tuts fav) and even my choice of a travel outfit for our short road trip home. She also had a complete file with Tuts healthcare already performed including microchip certificate, all his vaccines, a 30 day healthcare insurance policy and detailed advice on future veterinary care. Did I mention the small cat hotel which she also included! After we arrived home, Amanda stayed in contact with us to remind us to take Tut in for his vet kitten check up and to ask how he was adjusting with his eating, litter box use and even how well he was getting along with our 3 year old Boarder Terrier. All in all this has been a very stress free adaption and a kitten which is healthy, curious, loving and we can’t believe how smart he is! He already knows his name and is going potty on demand! We highly recommend Amanda and her breeding business and we really look forward to continuing our relationship with her since she has also offered to help to cat sit for Tut while we are away from home. What a great extra for living so close! We have also told Amanda to give our info out to anyone who would like to talk to use first hand concerning the legitimacy of her business and the quality of her kittens.

I recently purchased a kitten from the last of the Kinkalow (Munchkin/American Curl) litter and ended up bringing two cats home as I also adopted a retired Kinkalow. With the more sensitive nature of these cats Amanda was very upfront that they would take some times to acclimate, however it did not take long for all for head boops, all the purrs, and so many biscuits. The adoption process itself was top notch. Amanda had a wonderful care package and more knowledge than I knew what to do with. I fully intend on adopting another wonderful kitten from Amanda when the time is right. Even after the adoption process we have kept in touch sharing photos and stories of my little cling ons. I am very pleased with the whole process.

I was extremely impressed with the level of medical surveillance of the breeding stock.

Just as important was the emphasis not only on is the kitten right for you, but also making sure you are right for the kitten!

These kitties are thoroughly socialized. When we brought our Fitzgerald (or Mr Fitzer) home, he literally immediately settled in and never seemed to be frightened or missing his litter mates. He just followed us around everywhere and joined the family. Amanda is spectacular at what she does and truly loves the kittens she raises. She has followed up several times to be sure all is well. You don’t see this anywhere else!

I can’t recommend working with Amanda more! My family and I purchased a Maine Coon kitten from Amanda. From the moment I reached out until now, every interaction has been incredibly positive. Amanda’s communication is top notch- when I first reached out, she responded within just a few hours and happened to have availability that same evening for a lengthy phone call. Our process was quite quick (we were fortunate to pick up our new fur baby the next day!). Amanda did a fantastic job of answering all our questions before, during, and after the pickup process. She checked in periodically the first few weeks to see how things were going - which just goes to show how much she truly cares about the kittens she is helping to find their forever home, and the families she places them with. She was open to share veterinary records and health records, which was incredibly important to my family. 

Our kitten (Gretzky, for the great one!) is such a confident, healthy, and well-adjusted kitten. His mannerisms are exactly as you would want them to be. Training-wise, since he has come home with us he has had zero potty accidents. He knows how and when to use his claws and teeth, and has not had any issues whatsoever with scratching or biting things or people he should not. 

I am more than happy to be contacted for any questions anyone has about working with Amanda, but I cannot recommend her enough and think she does a fantastic job raising healthy, well-rounded kittens and finding the perfect homes for them.

Amanda is an amazing breeder. I adopted my sphynx July of 2025. He turns 1 in April🥲 She was extremely informative about the breed and was prompt with communication. The kittens get all their vet visits and shots before they come home. She kept up with us to make sure my baby was settling in and well. The home package was so generous and helpful. First off Amanda is amazing! We began talking over 6 months ago when I joined the waitlist. She spent over an hour on the phone with me asking what I was looking for, about my experience, and what to expect with a Sphynx. When it was my turn to choose my new baby, Amanda let me meet all the kittens and didn’t pressure me to make a decision, which took a couple days. After I made my decision, she would send updated pictures and answer any questions I had. Amanda is an exceptional breeder, she’s professional, knowledgeable, kind, caring, and generous with her time. Even after I took my kitten home Amanda followed up to find out if I had any questions, concerns, or just to get an update on the kitten…she truly loves and cares about them. Sarec's Cattery, Amanda took the time to listen to what we were looking for, in a new member of our family. We were kept informed of every step in pregnancy/birth, patiently waiting until our adoption day. We’ve had Chicken Nugget and Tater Tot for about half a year now and couldn’t be happier! Immediately took to us from their first night, curling up in our hands and everything. They have been a wonderful addition to the family with perfect temperaments.

Amanda walked us through everything from prepping for their eventual arrival, answering so many questions I had, to talking us through “Kitty Upkeep” (bath time, nail trimming, etc…)

My husband & I were looking online for a kitten. I stumbled across Sarec's Cattery. We fell head over heels for 2 males, Adler & Aaron (Aaron was renamed to Aiden). I submitted a kitten adoption inquiry! Amanda responded & we set up a time for her to contact us via phone! She is AMAZING!!!!!!! I love this woman! We wanted both boys but funds for both were just not there for that. We decided on Adler because of his mask. She took away all the anxiety & went above & beyond!!!!! She sent home a carrier, interactive toy, grooming kit, treats, adorable banana bed, food  & his blanket from his mom. She showed us how to trim nails & clean ears. The only thing she didn't send with us is a litter box with litter! 6 weeks later she reached out to me & said that Aiden's adoption fell through & asked if I knew anyone. I told her yes (my husband & I). When I say above & beyond I absolutely mean it.... she let us make payments because we had already adopted Adler! I am still in contact with Amanda as we love sharing the joy the boys bring to us & their funny little quirks they do as much as she loves hearing or seeing them! Thank you SO SO much Amanda!! I would recommend Sarec's Cattery & Amanda to anyone & everyone looking for a bundle of happiness!
